This Week's Meeting:  February 23, 2012

Les Steckel, while rising to the level of Colonel in the US Marine Corps Reserves, coached football for 32 years -- both in college (University of Colorado, US Naval Academy) and in the NFL (San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings head coach, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Houston Oilers, Buffalo Bills). Decades earlier, he was a Golden Gloves boxing champion while a student at the University of Kansas. He is now President and CEO of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Les believes that true championship teams, whether in a sport or a business or a Rotary Club, have more than just a winning record. To develop ongoing success, it is necessary for any organization (even a Rotary Club) to ensure that all its members honestly communicate and fully cooperate, make a genuine contribution and commitment to their team, and trust and believe in their purpose.  This promises to be a great meeting, so do come!
